Show how the concrete meets coping, drains and nearby equipment. Mention known lines or previous repairs before the assessment. The contractor needs to consider what could move with the slab and which adjacent components must remain undisturbed. A photograph alone cannot establish those conditions.
Separate the slab repair from pool-system work
A deck-lifting scope should identify the panels, intended profile, visible patches and any use restrictions. It does not automatically include pool-shell repair, coping replacement, leak correction or utility work. Where those issues are suspected, coordinate the appropriate pool specialist rather than treating mudjacking as a complete repair.

Will the concrete look new afterward?
Lifting changes a suitable slab's position. Existing cracks, surface wear and patched access holes may remain visible. Discuss the expected appearance before approving the work.
