A smoother way home.
A settled driveway can leave a bump at the garage, an uneven panel or a low spot that collects water. Start by finding out whether the existing concrete can be saved.
Ask about your concreteIs this what you are noticing?
- A dip where the driveway meets the garage
- One panel sitting lower than the next
- Settlement around an approach or walking route
Photograph the full driveway and the transition at the garage. Include both the low area and adjacent slabs so the relationship is clear. Note whether the problem changes after rain or irrigation.

Assess the whole situation.
The assessment considers slab integrity, the amount and direction of movement, access for the lifting equipment and the profile of nearby surfaces. A lift target should be realistic rather than a promise to make every aged surface look new.
Ask about the details
that change the decision.
The garage transition needs its own assessment
A dip at the garage may involve the driveway approach, the garage slab or both. Photograph the relationship between those surfaces and the door opening, rather than only a close-up of a crack. Ask which panels would be lifted and how the proposed result accounts for the surrounding concrete.
Compare the finished scope, not a savings percentage
A useful driveway quote identifies the area, practical lift target, access-hole patching and any restrictions. Existing surface wear may remain. Severe breakup or unresolved movement can change whether lifting is sensible; compare repair and replacement scopes honestly instead of assuming one generic price ratio applies.

What method does Randy use?
Randy and Mud Dog Jacking LLC currently use traditional cement-based mudjacking. Foam and PolyLevel installation are not offered through this website.
What affects the estimate?
The slab condition, lift objective, access and space beneath the slab all matter. Ask which surfaces are included, what restrictions apply and how unexpected conditions would be handled.
Will the concrete look new afterward?
Lifting changes a suitable slab's position. Existing cracks, surface wear and patched access holes may remain visible. Discuss the expected appearance before approving the work.
Where is the service available?

Different methods use different materials.
Some lifting methods inject expanding polyurethane. Mud Dog Jacking currently uses cement-based mudjacking, not foam or PolyLevel installation.
