Concrete Lifting Repair Scenarios: Driveways, Sidewalks and Patios

Concrete Lifting- How Long Does It Last

A settled driveway, uneven sidewalk and low patio need different assessments. The situations below explain questions worth asking; they are not claims about named customers or completed projects.

Assessing a driveway transition

Photograph the driveway and the garage threshold together, then show the height difference more closely. The slab condition, access and surrounding concrete inform whether a lift is suitable. Discuss the intended target and the appearance of access-hole patches before approving work.

Assessing a walking route

Show the whole route, not just one uneven edge. Adjacent panels, roots, drainage, ownership and access can change the scope. A more even transition does not by itself establish accessibility compliance or eliminate every trip risk.

Assessing a patio

Include the house wall, threshold and surrounding yard in the discussion. A lift needs to account for the intended surface profile and existing condition. It does not waterproof the building or remove every cause of water collection.

Understand the repair boundaries

Mud Dog Jacking LLC currently provides cement-based mudjacking through this website. Foam, structural foundation repair and decorative installation are not advertised services. Some damaged slabs need replacement or another specialist rather than a lift.

Look at actual work

Browse Mud Dog Jacking’s project gallery for real work photos. Photographs help explain surfaces and visible results; an assessment and the actual written scope still need to fit your property.
